Pablo Angel Lugo
Pablo Angel Lugo is an artist of considerable international reputation and enviable academic background, born in the City of Mexico. His work has taken him and has been exhibited all over the world.
Pablo's professional life is divided into artistic and research endeavours. His artistic specialty is public art, but his extensive artistic production includes paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, videos, performances, illustrations, graphic designs, and film collaborations. His work has been exhibited in Mexico, Cuba, the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, Colombia, France, Portugal, Argentina, and Indonesia, among other countries.
He studied in Mexico, Spain, and the United Kingdom, earning a bachelor's degree in visual arts, a specialization, and a master's degree in public art, and finally obtaining a Cum Laude PhD in Art: research and production with the support of a scholarship from the Jumex Foundation for Contemporary Art. He is a veteran of numerous courses and workshops and also teaches in the United Kingdom and abroad in his areas of expertise.
Dr. Lugo is the Director of Projects at Glocal Art Markets Consultants Ltd in London. His work as a researcher has led him to collaborations with the Sultanate of Oman, the Scottish Parliament, and he was part of the British delegation for UNESCO's Mondiacult 2022. He is the first and only expert witness in Public Art in Mexico.
