The Movement Education Program is a free curriculum designed to provide analysis, historical perspective, and exercises for activists and organizers. The program addresses the way corporatism, capitalism, white-supremacy, patriarchy and related oppressive structures impact our organizing, and it offers alternatives to consider as we work for justice.
This program was developed by Move to Amend, the coalition working to confront and dismantle corporate rule and the influence of money in politics. This curriculum is designed to be used by individuals and/or groups and Move to Amend affiliates at their desired pace. There are reflections and activities built in to the course to offer structure for processing and applying the information. For groups, there are sections to lead you through the creation of two different tools: the internal democracy agreement, and a solidarity organizing plan.
